Motor Vehicle and Boat Registration:
All motorized land and water vehicles must be registered (Snow sleds, All-Terrain Vehicles, Personal Watercraft, Specialty Watercraft, Motor boats, trailers, etc.).

Dogs
All dogs must be licensed. Contact Town Clerk.

When any dog is off the owner’s property the dog must be leashed.

Building Permits are required in the Town of Bellmont.  Always check with the Code Officer before starting any well drilling, septic system installation, building program, or demolition project for the most current and best information.

Property owners in the Adirondack Park are reminded that a Jurisdictional Determination from the APA is needed as well as a Town of Bellmont Building Permit.

There are no trash landfills in the Town of Bellmont. All dumping in places other than those listed below is considered illegal and fines will be levied. Open burning is not allowed.
